Ultimate Scream is back in FC 27
EA officially announced Ultimate Scream on 23 October 2026. The Halloween campaign brings special player items with position changes and unique upgrade paths, alongside themed Objectives, Live Events, Squad Building Challenges and Evolutions.
The most important features to understand are the limited-time November stat boosts and the separate Token Store rewards.
How to earn Ultimate Scream Tokens
Earn Ultimate Scream Tokens by completing themed Objectives across the two-week promotion. EA also confirms that two Flash Rush events each week will award Tokens, while the second-week Ghoul Fest event provides another opportunity.
Tokens can be exchanged for Ultimate Scream Heroes, packs and Evolutions. The Token Store remains open for an extra week after the promotion ends, giving you additional time to spend earned Tokens.

November 24: how the temporary 99-rated upgrades work
Starting 24 November 2026, all Ultimate Scream Player Items receive a temporary boost to one face stat, raising that stat to 99 for seven days. EA also says these items receive full Chemistry when used in eligible positions during the transformation.
The 99-rated face-stat boost is temporary, not a permanent upgrade. Do not assume the card will keep that 99 stat after the seven-day window ends.
Ultimate Scream Evolutions explained
Two gameplay Evolutions are available through the Ultimate Scream Token Store: one focused on defensive attributes and one that awards a PlayStyle+ to an eligible wide player.
Cosmetic Evolutions also return, including FUT 17, FUT 19 and FUT 20 Ultimate Scream-themed shells in the Token Store and Evolution Store. Check the exact eligibility restrictions and Token costs in-game before committing a player.
Ghoul Fest, Flash Rush and Live Events
Ghoul Fest arrives during the second week of Ultimate Scream. It uses No Rules matches, meaning normal offside and foul restrictions do not apply. The event also awards Scream Tokens.
Two Flash Rush events per week provide additional Token opportunities. Keep an eye on in-game event timers, because rewards and availability can change as the promotion progresses.
Gallery rewards and Halloween SBCs
Ultimate Scream Player Items can be used for Gallery Objectives and themed vanity rewards. Submitting a Gallery Set of at least five players can earn Gallery Tokens, which are distinct from Ultimate Scream Tokens.
EA also promises Halloween-themed Puzzle SBCs, Ultimate Scream SBCs and Showdown SBCs. Requirements and costs can change as new challenges are released.
Should you save or spend your Tokens?
Check all available Token Store rewards before making a redemption. If an Evolution fits a player you regularly use, it may offer more lasting value than a speculative pack. Conversely, a Hero or pack reward could be preferable depending on your squad.
Because the Token Store remains open for one extra week, there is no need to rush a choice solely because the two-week campaign has ended. Always verify the exact closing timer in-game.
