First make sure your market access is available

Before learning trading methods, check that the EA account can use the Transfer Market where you plan to trade. Web and Companion access can differ between accounts.

If the market is still locked, solve the access issue first rather than building a trading plan around features you cannot yet use.

Seven beginner rules

• Learn one small part of the market instead of trying to understand every card at once.
• Check several listings before deciding what a normal price looks like.
• Use bids as well as Buy Now.
• Start with small amounts while you learn how quickly cards actually sell.
• Do not put your entire balance into one player or one idea.
• Recheck prices before relisting because the market can move while you hold a card.
• Keep simple notes so you know whether a method is genuinely working.

A cheap listing is not automatically profit

The important number is what buyers are actually paying, not the highest optimistic listing on the page.

Watch multiple listings and avoid assuming one unusual price defines the whole market.

Protect your playing squad first

Trading should not leave you unable to field the team you want to use. Keep a working squad and a separate amount you are comfortable moving around the market.

That keeps mistakes smaller and removes the pressure to force a sale.
