Wing Specialization requirements
Current live Evolution listings show Wing Specialization as a free, three-level Evolution for eligible wide players.
Maximum 79 OVR.
The player must be eligible at RM or RW.
Players with ST or CDM as excluded positions do not qualify under the live requirements.
Maximum seven PlayStyles.
You only need six matches
The objectives are simple: play two matches for each of the three levels using the active Evolution player. Squad Battles on at least Semi-Pro difficulty counts, as do eligible online modes listed by the Evolution.
That makes Wing Specialization one of the easier early FC 27 Evolutions to finish. You can complete all three levels in six matches as long as the active EVO player is used correctly.
The three Level 3 paths
The most important decision comes at Level 3 because you choose one of three specialisations rather than receiving every final upgrade.
Extra acceleration and sprint speed plus positioning, finishing and shot power. Best for a winger you want to turn into more of a direct scorer.
The biggest speed boost, plus balance, ball control and dribbling. Best for wide players you want to feel faster and more explosive.
Vision, short passing, long passing, strength and aggression. Best for creative wide players or players you move inside during matches.
Strong players to check first
Live Evolution databases currently show several useful candidates. Eligibility can change depending on previous Evolutions applied to a card, so always confirm the exact item in-game before committing.
- Víctor Muñoz — an obvious pace-focused option and a strong fit if you want the explosive Level 3 route.
- Geny Catamo — already quick and naturally suited to wide play, making the choice of finishing or dribbling path interesting.
- Yunus Akgün — a technical option who can benefit from either the attacking or creative route.
- Ander Barrenetxea — useful if you want a winger with a balanced attacking base before the final pathway choice.
- Alex Berenguer — a more rounded option whose starting shooting and passing can make the finishing or passing route attractive.
- Ridle Baku — offers a different profile for players who value versatility as well as the Evolution upgrades.
Which path should you choose?
Do not pick the path simply because it adds the highest-looking number. Match it to the card you are evolving and how you actually use that player.
If the card already has good dribbling but weak finishing, Path A can make more sense than adding even more pace. If you rely on the winger to beat full-backs, Path B is the obvious route to inspect. If the player comes inside as a creator, Path C can produce the more useful in-game profile.
Do not forget future Evolution chains
A lower-rated card can sometimes be more valuable than an obvious 79-rated option because Evolutions can be chained. The trade-off is that every upgrade can change future eligibility.
If you are planning a longer Evolution chain, check the final stats, positions and PlayStyles after Wing Specialization rather than judging only the immediate 83 OVR result.
