EA SPORTS FC 27 launched worldwide on 25 September 2026. That matters for Ultimate Team because the market, objectives and player supply are now being shaped by the full player base rather than only Web App and early-access users.

Launch weekend is usually the worst time to rush every decision. Prices can move quickly as more packs are opened, more rewards enter the market and popular starter players become obvious.

• Finish the opening Ultimate Team Foundations steps so you understand which rewards and Objectives are immediately available.
• Claim every launch reward before buying replacements for positions you may already have covered.
• Check whether your Transfer Market access is active before planning a trading strategy.
• Build around useful untradeable cards first instead of forcing an expensive full squad immediately.
• Review current SBCs before quick-selling low-rated or duplicate cards.
• Keep part of your Coin balance liquid while launch-week prices are still moving quickly.
• Compare several listings before buying popular starter players.
• Check Chemistry and alternate positions before paying more for a card that does not fit your squad.
• Use Squad Battles or lower-pressure matches to test your formation before rebuilding the team.
• Only spend on an upgrade when you can explain what problem in your squad it actually fixes.

Transfer Market access is still worth checking first

Some new or returning players can see different Transfer Market access depending on account history and EA's Graduated Access requirements. If the market is locked, deal with that before making plans that depend on buying or selling players.

Repeatedly opening the Web App will not bypass an in-game access requirement. Check the account and Objectives shown in Ultimate Team instead.

Do not copy an expensive starter squad blindly

A launch-week squad shared by a creator can become dramatically more expensive once thousands of players chase the same cards. Use those squads for ideas, not as a shopping list.

The better approach is to identify two or three positions where an upgrade changes how the team plays, then compare alternatives at different prices.

The market will not stay like this

Worldwide release adds a much larger stream of pack supply, rewards and new buyers. That means today's price is a snapshot, not a permanent valuation.

If a card has jumped sharply because it appeared in a viral starter squad, ask whether you actually need it now or whether a cheaper card does the same job while the market settles.
