What are the best FC 27 Evolutions right now?
Current live Evolution rankings show a mix of pace-heavy wingers, strikers and central midfielders producing some of the strongest early FC 27 upgrades.
FUT.GG currently ranks Pedro Neto as the highest-rated Evolution outcome on its live list, with Kundananji, Rashford, Openda and Chiesa also among the strongest options.
PlayStyles, positions, weak foot, skill moves and future Evolution eligibility can matter more than one extra overall-rating point.
Top Evolution players to check first
Currently one of the strongest live Evolution outcomes, combining elite pace with useful wide positions and a well-rounded attacking profile.
A fast, physical attacking option with excellent pace and a profile that can become very difficult to defend once upgraded.
Already starts with a strong attacking base, so the right Evolution can turn him into a premium early-game forward without needing a promo version.
One of the more natural striker choices if you want raw speed and direct running through the middle.
A versatile wide attacker whose starting dribbling and shooting make him a strong candidate when the Evolution adds pace or end product.
Best active Evolutions to prioritise
FUT.GG's live Evolution rankings currently place these among the strongest active options by upgrade value:
- Intro to Evolutions — currently the highest-scoring active Evolution on FUT.GG's ranking.
- Midfield Glow Up — a strong option for upgrading central and defensive midfield profiles.
- Winger Glow Up — useful for fast wide players who need a broader attacking boost.
- Striker Glow Up — aimed at improving lower-rated forwards into more usable early-game attackers.
- Trust the Keeper — one of the better-value goalkeeper upgrade routes currently available.
- Wing Specialization — a free Evolution with three different final upgrade paths for eligible RM/RW players.
Which player should you actually evolve?
The best public ranking is not automatically the best card for your club. Start with chemistry and positions: a slightly weaker Evolution that fits your league, nation or formation can be more useful than a higher-rated card you struggle to link.
Then check whether the Evolution fixes the player's biggest weakness. A winger who already has 90+ Pace may gain more from shooting, passing or physical upgrades than from adding even more speed.
Think about future Evolution chains
Evolution chaining is one of the biggest reasons not to rush. Applying an upgrade can change a card's overall rating, PlayStyles, positions and individual attributes, which can make that player ineligible for a better Evolution released later.
If you are building around a favourite player, compare the final card after the full path rather than only looking at the first upgrade.
Free Evolutions are usually the safest place to start
Early in the cycle, free Evolutions can deliver excellent value because there is no direct Coin cost to enter. The main cost is your time and the opportunity cost of locking that player into a path.
Paid Evolutions can still be worth it, but the standard should be higher: the final card should solve a real squad need or create a player you expect to use for a meaningful period.
