Ted Lasso and AFC Richmond return to FC 27
EA announced the Ted Lasso crossover on 12 October 2026. AFC Richmond Women, also known as the Lady Greyhounds, join FC 27 alongside Ted Lasso-themed content across multiple modes.
The crossover is not just an Ultimate Team cosmetic drop: you can take AFC Richmond Women onto the pitch and manage the side in Career Mode.
Where to find AFC Richmond Women
To play with AFC Richmond Women, open the team selector in Kick Off and look under Women's Rest of World. EA also lists the team as available in Career Mode and Online Seasons.
If the team does not appear, make sure the latest FC 27 content update has downloaded, then check the team category again.
How to play as Ted Lasso in Career Mode
Choose the AFC Richmond Women experience in Career Mode to manage the team as Ted Lasso. EA describes themed challenges, cutscenes and touchline interactions as part of the crossover.
Career Mode is the place to experience the management side of the collaboration; it is separate from unlocking Ultimate Team items.
What Ultimate Team rewards are available?
EA's announcement highlights AFC Richmond-themed Ultimate Team content, including kits, stadium cosmetics, manager items and Season Progress rewards.
Open Ultimate Team Objectives and Season Progress to see which rewards are currently active and the precise in-game requirements. Objectives and availability can change, so use the game menus rather than assuming every reward is claimable immediately.
Is Nelson Road in FC 27?
Yes. Nelson Road, AFC Richmond's fictional home stadium, returns as part of the crossover. Look for the associated stadium content in the modes and rewards where EA makes it available.
Do you need FC Coins to play as AFC Richmond?
No. You do not need to purchase FC Coins simply to select AFC Richmond Women in the supported modes. The Ultimate Team crossover rewards have their own in-game unlock requirements.
If you are also building an Ultimate Team squad, compare player prices and your budget before spending coins. XP247 offers third-party coin packages, which are not affiliated with EA and may carry account risk.
