The Web App head start is real — but only if you stay patient
EA opened the FC 27 Web App on 16 September 2026, followed by the Companion App on 17 September. That gives eligible players a chance to manage Ultimate Team, open rewards, complete SBCs and use the Transfer Market before worldwide launch.
The mistake is treating the first login like a race to spend everything. Early markets move quickly because supply changes every hour as more players gain access. Your first goal should be to understand what you own and what your account can actually do.
9 things worth doing first
- Check whether Transfer Market access is active before planning any trading or purchases.
- Claim launch rewards and inspect every tradeable item before quick-selling anything.
- Build around good untradeable players first so you do not buy positions you already have covered.
- Check current SBCs before selling low-rated cards that may have immediate demand.
- Compare player prices instead of buying the first listing you see.
- Keep some Coins liquid. Launch-week prices can move sharply when early access and worldwide launch add more supply.
- Avoid copying a creator squad blindly if it uses cards whose prices have already spiked.
- Use the Web App for club management, but remember that some FC 27 features are console/PC-first at launch.
- If your market is locked, work through the official access requirements rather than repeatedly refreshing or changing accounts.
Why some players cannot use the Transfer Market yet
EA says early Web and Companion App eligibility depends on prior Ultimate Team activity and an account in good standing. Newer players may also encounter FC 27's Graduated Access flow for Transfer Market access.
That is why two players can open the same Web App on the same day and see different capabilities. If you are locked out, check the account requirements first rather than assuming the app is broken.
What changes after early access starts
Once more players can play matches, earn rewards and open packs, supply and demand can change fast. A card that looks rare during the Web App window may be much easier to find later, while genuinely popular starter players can rise if demand outruns supply.
